Data Manager
this is an asyncrhonous caching mechanism in which objects are created in separate threads and managed by a database which runs in its own thread. The database behaves likes a server and other threads request objects and actions (such as removing an object) from the database as clients. The client threads perform most of the work during normal operation - i.e. other than when the objects are being created.
