W3C Web Ontology Working Group Activities

Peter F. Patel-Schneider

In the W3C Web Ontology Working Group I created and presented a number of designs for a web ontology language. I made several presentations at the face-to-face meetings of the group. I also prepared a number of documents on the syntax and semantics of OWL, an ontology language for the Web being designed by the working group.

I was the main editor for the semantic definition of OWL, OWL Web Ontology Language: Semantics and Abstract Syntax. I edited several of the other documents on OWL.
